Manual core production
Core production is carried out using the same process as in the manual
moulding shop, using furan resin cores with a volume of up to 1,500 litres.
The production of these manually filled cores demands great specialist
skill. On the one hand, we must achieve good stability, while at the same
time ensuring reliable gas extraction.
Cores form the heart of a casting. They form the cavities in the later
cast part which are necessary for undercutting. Without these, it would
not be possible to achieve the wide variety of design possibilities available
to casting.
